-       He failed in business in ‘32

-       He ran for state legislature in ’32 and lost.

-       He tried in business again in’33 and failed.

-       His sweetheart died in ’35.

-       He had a nervous breakdown in ’36.

-       He ran for state legislator in ’40 after he regained his health.

-       He was defeated for Congress in ‘43

-       Defeated again when he tried in ‘48

-       Defeated again when ran for the Senate in ’55.

-       And again in ’56 when he tried to be the vice-president of United States.

-       He ran for the Senate again in ’58 and lost.

What would you say about this man? Is he a failure?  

I believe one fails only when he or she stops trying. This man never stopped.

In 1860 he was elected the president of United States.

By now you may know that this man was Abraham Lincoln.
